Travel Diaries — Funny Tails

It was a coldest evening & the temperature dropped to approx. minus 20, we decided to go out for lunch, as we only had a boiled egg in the breakfast and a cup of coffee. We packed our self and someone in the lobby, told us you would not be able to go because of the cold wind. Still we decided to go out for lunch and started our walk against the wind, it was too cold that our hands, ears and legs were freezing we barely traverse 100 yards then we decided to go back.

Once I saw a Russian movie in which a soldier try to survive in the coldest weather using a cigarettes. it was running in my head and at exactly that moment, I decided to give it another go, I rubbed my hands, took out my pack of cigarettes and light it up, inhaled it and it felt like I am that soldier and ready to go, hands in pocket, cigarettes in mouth, there I go. However, the smoke was like holding a torch against a blizzard & it proved a myth & most importantly I was not a soldier & it was not movie.
